The Chamber offers many scholarships and awards throughout the year. Anyone is welcome to submit nomination or application form for any of these awards. Once all submissions have been collected, the recipients are chosen by the group of Chamber Member Volunteers that serve on the Recognition Committee (for more information on volunteering, check out the committees page by clicking here). Each award is then presented to the recipients at Chamber General Membership Luncheons. The annual awards & scholarships offered by the Chamber are:
Charles DeBono Volunteer of the Year Award - February 18th, 2010

$1,500 Student Citizenship Scholarship - applications currently being accepted!
$1,500 Dr. Jean L. Harris Student Scholarship - applications currently being accepted!
$1,000 STEM Scholarship, sponsored by ADC - applications currently being accepted!
Small Business Person of the Year Award - June 17th, 2010
ATHENA (Women in Business) Award - October 14th, 2010
$1,500 Post Secondary Scholarship - November 18th, 2010
The 2010 Golden Apple Award Nomination Forms are now available and are DUE BY WEDNESDAY, MARCH 24th. These awards are meant to recognize both teachers and staff in our Chamber member schools as wll as our local chamber member businesses for instilling the importance of its commitment to learning, a focus on positive values and the empowerment of students in useful roles in the community.
